Well the Jockumsen Brood are joining the blog at long last. I'm not really sure where to start, so we will start with today. Rainbow has been incredibly hospitable while Drew and I crash here during the days. It has been a great bonding experience as we discuss answers to world problems and our own. I don't know what I would do without her and I have been enjoying my time here immensely.

I am currently working on a way to hopefully do some work from home and step down from some of my direct management responsibilities. I will hopefully be talking to a great friend and mentor to do some networking to see what can be done. With everything that has happened I just don't think I am ready to be responsible for directly leading a group of people right now.

Jared is back at work and doing great. He was accepted into the Social Work program a couple of weeks ago and is ecstatic, as is the whole family. We are very proud of how far he has come and of his academic accomplishments.

Drew had his two month check up yesterday: 13 pound 14 ounces, 23 1/4 inches. Growing wonderfully!! He has really been starting to talk lately. We are thinking he may be a great speaker or lawyer someday.

We got Dylan's first school pictures yesterday. They are darling! He was very excited and proud of them. He was also pleased about Rainbow's Xmas decorations. I am sure I will soon be nagged about getting ours up. He has already started cutting out trees and decorating them and hanging them around the house. So creative!
